Video Clip Exiting Barbican Folly Into Castle

Determine for yourself what happened in this clip. Our review of hours of tape showed that the only time there was a problem was in the gated area, and the "dungeon" area. Once those areas were exited ... there were no equipment failures, electrical failures or even a "spooky feeling".  The most notable occurrence, aside from the video turning itself on and off,  jumping frames and repeating itself, was the change in light, color and atmosphere. It is at the end of the clip. This is also the point where we felt that "it's ok now".

Haunted! in Roscoe, NY

View of gated area - from outside
Entrance to the second chamber
Problems with the video & recorder started

An escorted tour of the Dundas Castle in Roscoe, NY provided our team with eerie footage in some of the "hot spots". At the end of a gated walk-way, or barbican folly, there are two turrets situated opposite of one another. The one on the left is light and airy, a joyful, peaceful place. The one on the right was dark, dreary and foreboding. Entering the second chamber, we discovered a basement or more likely, a dungeon. Amid the dripping water, a voice can be heard on the recording. As we left the chamber, and headed back into the castle proper, the video equipment started jumping, skipping and turning itself off and on. Photos are posted here, taken during several of the equipment "failures". Once we left the area, the equipment resumed working. The beautiful structure has sadly been completely vandalized. There are angry markings on the wall with words like RAMPAGE, LION and VENGEANCE. One graffiti artist advised all vandals as to ownership of the castle: "This house belongs to Mr. Dundas" is written in dust in a sink in a cutlery storage area off the main kitchen. The most notable occurrence was the sound of two men approaching us in an eager fashion, presumably to ask us to leave. One man was urging the other on, in their approach. The voices were not carried by bodies. There were several instances where I seemed to be walking into spiderwebs or cobs webs and made complaint. Raven, who entered the room before I did, did not notice spiderwebs. Nor did he see any material whatsoever on me upon my complaint.
